Zamboanga Del Sur is a province of the Philippines located in the western part of Mindanao and is in the Zamboanga Peninsula. Zamboanga del Sur is occupying the southern section of the Zamboanga 54" to 1230 40' east and latitude 70 22'to 80 20' north. It is bounded in the north by the Province of Zamboanga del norte, in the south by the moro Gulf, in the southwest by the newly-created Province of Zamboanga Sibugay, in the east by the Province of Misamis Occidental, the Panguil Bay and a portion of Lanao del sur Province. 

Stretching northward from Sibugay Province in the southwest and running along the northern boundary onward to salug valley in the east is a mountainous country. The coastal plains are narrow strips extending regularly from the southwest, then spreading into wide flat lands when reaching the coastal plains of baganian Peninsula in the southeast.

To/From the Airport. The airport is 5.2Km from the centre of Pagadian, ZDS, walk out of the arrival
hall and catch a public tricycle for P8 or take a special trip for P20. Taxis cost around P100.
From the town you can take jeepney marked Tiguman to Airport.

Before I going to Pagadian, visited my friend and he one recommended me to visit, diplo is small village in Kumalarang, but it give powerful experience with visit this place small places municipalities in Zamboanga del sur.

 In Pagadian, in particular there are beaches and islands that  will make one believe that there is such a thing as a secluded paradise on earth. A nice place to start would be the Dao Dao island that to island hopping by boating either to dive and swim.

There is also Lapuyan that, as its clear, deep, blue waters (even during low tides) are excellent for swimming and diving.

The Pitogo,Zamboanga del sur, their is the hidden secret 
island which is called Pinikian island is located further 
away, but the white sands and clear seas more than make
 up for the distance. This beautiful island is uninhabited
 by people and is untainted by human hands  Have rocky outcroppings and coral reefs so one should be careful in trekking them.

Subanon Tribes

The Subanen were officially estimated to number 47,164 by 
1988, their population grown to about 300,000. 

Subanen do not practice division of labor based on sex. 
Men and Women work in the fields together, and men can 
cook and care for the children when necessary. Subanons have little  social stratification. Everyone is equal in the subanon community because everyone has the same family for several years. if he cannot afford to pay the shamaya. It is considered
 a blessing to have more daughters than sons because the father
 will be able to recover the dowry he paid for his wife. 
There is a general belief that all human beings should marry. Marriage is subanen society is through parental arrangement, 
which can take place even before the parties reach the age of puberty. The contracting families go through preliminaries 
for the purpose of determining the bride-price, which may 
be in the form of cash or goods or a combination of both. Negotiations are undertaken between the two sets parents
 through the mediation of a go-between who is not related to
 eigher family. Once the bride-price is determined, a partial delivery of the articles included in the agreement may be made,
 to be completed when the actual marriage takes place.
