Beautiful Lake Sebu, ancestral home of the T'boli people , sits at an elevation of about 300m in a bowl of hills and forests. Enjoy the cool evenings at the altitude, where the thick woven T'boli clothes suddenly make sense. The annual Lemlunay Festival takes place in the second week November ad is a celebration of T'boli cultures culminating with horse fights- the sport of royalty in local culture- when two stallions fight over a mare in heat. (its neither as bloody nor as fatal as cockfighting.)

        Try to visit in time for the Saturday Market,when tribes people come in from the surrounding communities. Don;t expect to see anybody wearing there traditional costumes, though. Except during special occasions, the T'boli dress no different from any other Filipino's. Visit the T'boli Museum (Admission P5; open 7am-5pm daily) on the road Punta Isla. It has a small but good collection. A weaver is usually there, dyeing abaca with vegetables dyes and weaving the dyed fibre on a backstrap loom. Take a boat trip on Lake Sebu

too expensive. Cheap for tourist for sure, Amazing views of the mountains and the lake. Beautiful for
night or day trips. The customer service was great. Parking is restricted though could get congested
at the peak times.

Celebrating its 34th Founding Anniversary is on first week of november. Lake Sebu is home to the

Tboli tribe which are known for their Tnalak weaving and their rich culture and traditions, its three lakes namely Seloton, Lahit and SBu, the famous Seven Falls and Seven Falls Zipline Adventure

and many more. Also another festival in Lake Sebu is Helobung Festival is a Tboli term which means

merriment or unending joy. It is celebrated to give honor and respect to the spirits that give abundance off  the tribe.
